FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at 8:30am. Registration will be held from 8:30am-9am. The camp will start promptly at 9am.

What should I bring?
Camp participants should bring a water bottle. Water and Gatorade refills will be provided. Parents/spectators should bring a folding chair.

What should I wear?
T-shirt and shorts. Football cleats. Do not bring pads or helmets. Camp t-shirts will be provided.

Can my parents/friends/family come and watch?
Yes, spectators are welcome. The coaches will hold a question and answer session during lunch which is open to everyone. Campers may also enjoy family support during the "combine-like" testing.

What can I do to prepare for the day of camp?
It will be extremely hot and humid the day of the camp, so be sure to prehydrate by drinking lots of water the entire week leading up to the camp. Be sure to eat a healthy dinner with carbs (such as pasta) the night before and don't forget to eat breakfast.

Will the camp be broken down into age groups?
Yes, the camp will be broken down into four age groups (6-8), (9-11), (12-14), (15-18).
Each age group will be taught the same drills with some variations to accommodate the different levels and abilities. The more advanced players will receive more in depth training to further challenge their abilities. Each age group will be tested in their speed and agility and will have their times and scores recorded. Awards will be given out to certain campers who excel in performance and attitude. There will be awards in each age group.

Will campers receive lunch?
Yes, lunch will be provided. If your child has specific dietary needs or has food allergies, please bring a lunch. Refrigeration is available upon request.

Will Ricky Watters be on the field coaching my child?
Yes, Ricky Watters and his celebrity guest coaches will be hands on in instructing and training all campers in all age groups.

Will there be any hitting?
Players will be hitting bags, not each other. Pads will be provided if needed.

Will all campers play on offense and defense?
Yes, it is important at this level to play an offensive and defensive position as coaches don't always know what position each player might excel in. It's necessary to discover each child's full potential. Many players also get their positions changed in college, so it is good to be well-rounded.
